Just a short woodland walk from Doward Park Campsite, Seven Sisters Viewpoint is one of our favourite places in Great Doward. The walk passes King Arthur's Cave before reaching dramatic limestone cliffs with beautiful views over the River Wye, then returns through peaceful woodland and Lord's Wood Quarry Nature Reserve

How long is the walk?
Around 30–45 minutes, depending on how long you stop to enjoy the views and explore King Arthur's Cave.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. The walk is fairly short, although some sections have uneven woodland paths.
Can I take my dog?
Yes, it's one of our favourite dog walks from the campsite.
Is it steep?
Mostly gentle woodland paths, with a few uneven sections near the viewpoint.

This is one of the walks we recommend most often to guests because it packs so much into a short distance. In less than an hour you can explore a prehistoric cave, enjoy one of the best viewpoints on the Great Doward and wander through peaceful ancient woodland—all without needing to move your car.
