Coppett Hill: A Must‑Do Walk for Families, Dogs & Nature Lovers
Coppett Hill is one of the Wye Valley’s most beautiful spots, offering big views, peaceful woodland and plenty of space for families — and dogs — to explore. From colourful autumn leaves to springtime bluebells, it’s a walk that feels magical in every season.


Woodland walk to Symonds Yat pubs: Ye Old Ferrie Inn or The Saracens Head Inn
We understand that many of you enjoy a drink after a good walk, so we've put together a pleasant route to the nearby pubs in Symonds Yat. Ye Old Ferrie Inn is conveniently located on our side of the river, but you can also opt to cross over to The Saracens Head Inn - Symonds Yat by hand ferry... or why not visit both! Walk or Cycle to Historical Monmouth
Enjoy a walk or cycle to the historic town of Monmouth along the river Wye.


Seven Sisters Walk
One of our favourite short loops is the walk to the Seven Sisters viewpoint. This walk takes you through the woods, passed King Arthurs cave and on to a beautiful viewpoint on the Seven Sisters rocks overlooking the river Wye. Climb A Mountain!
Just a short hop over the border to Wales and you have an excellent choice of mountains to climb! There's no better view from the top of a mountain; here are some of our favourites: Sugar Loaf Standing at 596m and offering panoramic views over south Wales and south-west England, Sugar Loaf is one of our favourite mountains to climb. It is a 40 minute drive from the campsite and takes around 2.5 hours. Skirrid From the top of Skirrid you can see Herefordshire, the Black Mount
