A walk or cycle to Monmouth is a lovely way to spend the day. Taking in the ancient woodland and the river Wye. You can stop off for a drink or bite to eat in Monmouth before heading back. Walking From the campsite you can walk a lovely loop to Monmouth and back along the river Wye. The route takes around 3 hours to complete, taking you through woodland, over the suspension bridge and along the river then back on the other side. Cycling To cycle you follow the track down to the suspension bridge and over and follow the same route as if walking however the other side isn't cycle friendly so you will return the same way.
