Just a short walk from Doward Park Campsite, Little Doward Hill Fort is one of the Wye Valley's hidden treasures. This peaceful woodland walk takes you through ancient woodland to one of Britain's largest Iron Age hill forts. Whilst the remnants of the fort are long gone it is still a beautiful walk with lovely views.

How long does the walk take?
You can reach hill fort in around 30 minutes but allow longer if combining with nearby attractions.
Is it suitable for children?
Older children should enjoy the walk, but the climb up to the hill fort is quite steep in places, so it may be challenging for very young children.
Can I take my dog? Yes this a lovely woodland route perfect for dogs
Can I combine it with King Arthur's Cave?
