Goodrich Castle is one of England's finest and best-preserved medieval castles, just a 10–15 minute drive from Doward Park Campsite. Perched high above the River Wye, it's the perfect family day out, with towers to climb, a fascinating history and spectacular countryside views.
Climb to the top of the keep for panoramic views over the Wye Valley, descend into the atmospheric dungeon, explore the dry moat and relax afterwards with a drink from the tearoom or a picnic in the castle grounds. 📍 Drive: 10-15 minutes
