Walk to Yat Rock viewpoint

For one of the best views over the river wye, head up to the view point in Symonds Yat. Here you not only have a spectacular view, but also the chance to spot peregrine falcons who nest in the cliffs. Walk from the campsite down to the river and over the bridge at Biblins. Walk along the river towards the Saracens Head pub then up the steep track on your right to arrive at Yat Rock. There you can enjoy the views and there is also a cafe. You can either walk the same way back, or take the hand ferry at the Saracens Head pub and walk back through the woodland.
