Nearby is one of the most prominent features of the Lower Wye Valley, Coppett Hill.
An impressive 98 hectares of the hill is a dedicated nature reserve, one of the largest in Herefordshire.
In autumn it is particularly impressive as the leaves of sweet chestnuts, beeches, oaks, hawthorns and ash begin to change colour. Spring is also a beautiful time to visit as the bluebells form a vibrant blanket of colour.
There is a trig point at the peak - 188 metres. From here you can see views of Goodrich to the west over to the Black Mountains and views to the North over Ross on Wye to the Malvern Hills and Shropshire.
