Our Adventure Playground!

The Adventure Playground at Doward Park Campsite is a safe, woodland‑themed play area designed for young children to explore, climb and enjoy during their stay. It’s located right on the campsite, close to the facilities, and offers a relaxed, natural space for families to unwind.

What the Adventure Playground Includes

In 2023 we had a brand new adventure playground installed in our woodland! Since then it's proven a big hit with all the children staying on site. We have swings, climbing castles with slides, balance beam, sand pit, rabbit spring, a badminton court and plenty of woodland material to make a cool den and more!

Why families love this space

Families love this space because it gives children a safe, natural place to play while parents can relax knowing everything is close by. The playground blends into the woodland setting, so it feels adventurous without being overwhelming, and the equipment is sized perfectly for younger children who want to climb, explore and burn off energy. It becomes a social spot too, where children make friends easily and parents can chat while keeping an eye on them. The mix of freedom, safety and fresh air makes it one of the most enjoyable parts of staying at Doward Park.
