Food pop‑ups are returning to Doward Park Campsite for 2026, bringing a mix of local street food and family‑friendly evening events to the heart of Symonds Yat. These relaxed food nights give guests the chance to enjoy great meals without leaving the campsite, meet local producers and soak up the woodland atmosphere. This guide covers what to expect, when the pop‑ups are happening and how they fit into your stay.

What the food pop‑ups are all about?

Our food pop‑ups bring independent food vendors directly to the campsite, offering freshly cooked meals using local ingredients. Each evening has its own theme, Freshly cooked Katsu Chicken to Massaman Curry and seasonal specials. The events are relaxed, informal and designed to make your stay easier—no cooking, no driving, just good food in a beautiful woodland setting.

Is it family‑friendly?

Absolutely. The pop‑ups are designed with families in mind, offering simple, crowd‑pleasing meals and a relaxed outdoor setting. Children can enjoy the open space while adults unwind with a freshly cooked dinner. Many vendors offer smaller portions or child‑friendly options.

Where the pop‑ups take place?

All food pop‑ups are held on the main campsite, close to the reception and easy to reach from every pitch. There’s plenty of space to sit, chat and enjoy the evening, whether you head back to your pitch or settle at one of the picnic tables.

Here are our dates for our food pop ups for the 2026 season. We have the always popular Miniyaki's Japanese Soul Food, & are delighted to welcome back the equally popular Khun Mae Thai Kitchen. Campers and non campers are welcome. Veggie / vegan options always available. Serving from 5pm - 8pm.
