PLACES TO VISIT

Westons Cider Farm - you can't visit Herefordshire without trying some cider! Well worth a visit, only a 20minute drive to Much Marcle. Tours available, shop, childrens play area - take a look at their web site www.westons-cider.co.uk/

Clearwell Caves - Ancient Iron Ore Mines - open to the public. Adventure caving trips also by arrangement. www.clearwellcaves.com.

Goodrich Castle - only 4 miles from the campsite. If you are feeling particularly energetic you could walk there. www.wyenot.com/goodrich200401.htm

Raglan Castle - 12 miles away. The last castle to fall to Cromwell during the civil war. www.cadw.wales.gov.uk.

Big Pit - Blaenafon - a real coal mine (closed in 1980). Only a 30 miniute drive from the campsite. Go 300ft underground with a real miner and see what life was like for the thousands of men who worked at the coal face (children must be 5 and over 1metre to go underground).
